Sam Hawkins

We welcome Sam Hawkins to the Coastline Art Hub exhibition for the next fortnight.

Sam is a local metal artist from the Macleay Valley, who specializes intricate metal sculptures.

Sam takes inspiration from the everyday wildlife he encounters in this amazing part of the world. Watching the way the animals move and trying to replicate that in his pieces to make the piece seem alive.

Growing up Sam enjoyed taking things apart to find out how they worked. Later on in life all those little pieces have become important parts of his art works giving the seemingly useless parts a new meaning and purpose.
