What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?

  • You can report your card as lost or stolen via the My Coast App, internet banking or by calling the card hotline on 1800 621 199 

    Mobile APP ‘My Coast’ App. After logging into the app, click on the 3 lines on the top left corner to bring up the menu. In here, you will find ‘Card Management’. Click on the card you are referring to, Click ‘Lost or Stolen card’, and then click ‘Lost Card’ or ‘Stolen Card’, and the confirm by clicking ‘cancel card’.

  • Internet banking  log into your Coastline internet banking. You then go to Services on the top line & then card/pin management. Click on the card you are referring to, click ‘Lost or Stolen card’, and then click ‘Lost Card’ or ‘Stolen Card’ below, and the confirm by clicking ‘save’.

    If your card is lost or stolen during business hours of 9am - 5pm, you can also call us on 1300 36 1066  or visit your nearest branch as soon as possible. We can cancel your current card and arrange for a new card to be mailed to you.

    There may be a fee for ordering a replacement card. Refer to our Disclosure documents for more details.

How can I request a new card?

  • You can report your card lost or stolen Via the MyCoast App, internet banking or by phoning the Card Hotline 1800 621 199.

  • If you need to replace a card, or request a new one for a new account, please call us on 1300 361 066 or visit one of our stores and a friendly team member can help.

How long will it take for my card to arrive?

  • Your new card will take approximately 7-10 business days to arrive. If you urgently need a new card, we can do an express order which should take 5 business days.

  • There may be a fee for ordering a replacement card. Please refer to our Disclosure documents for more details.

I have forgotten my PIN how do I change it?

  • There are three ways to change your Card's Personal Identification Number (PIN). 

    • MyCoast Mobile Banking App 
    • Internet banking
    • Coastline ATM (NOTE - You must know the existing card PIN to change it at the ATM)

     

  • MyCOAST App: After logging into the app, click on the 3 lines on the top left corner to bring up the menu. In here, you will find ‘Card Management’. Click on the card you are referring to, Click ‘Change Pin’. Then enter the pin that you have chosen, and confirm that same pin a second time, and click ‘Change’.

    Internet Banking: After logging in, click on ‘services’, then ‘pin/card management’. You will need to validate your secondary security (Secure SMS or VIP). Once you validated your secondary security you can then click on ‘change pin’ and follow the prompts.

What is my daily card limit?

  • Your daily card limit for ATM withdrawals is $1,000 per day.

    When using your Visa Debit card to make pucharses in store using an eftos terminal you can press credit and you will have access to all available funds in your account.

  • When using a CueCard your daily eftpos limit is $1,000

    PayWave (Tap&Go) purchases are limited to $100 per transactions and up to five transactions per day.

Can I increase my daily card limit?

  • To temporarily increase your ATM withdrawal limit, please call 1300 361 066 or visit your local branch during business hours and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist. 

     

  • ATM limits can be increased to a maximum $5,000 per day, temporary ATM limits will only remain in place for the same business day until 6pm. 

What ATM's are fee free?

  • Coastline ATM's located at our branch network remain free for Coastline cards.

    The major banks now offer fee free withdrawals, these include Westpac, St George, ANZ, CommBank and NAB.

     

  • Our ATM partner Westpac and their afilliated ATM's including Bank of SA and BCU are also fee free.

    Note fees may apply at independantly owned and operated ATM's within Australia. Please refer to the individual ATM machine for applicible fees and charges.
