First things first
Let's open a Coastline account for you! Drop into your nearest Coastline store or submit an enquiry online and we'll help you join us!. Once you’ve joined Coastline, we’ll make it easy for you to move all your recurring payments across to this account. Switching payments like your utility bills, loan repayments and salary to your Coastline account means all your banking will be in one simple place!
We’ll need you to fill out and sign a Switch of Regular Payments Arrangements Form, allowing us to contact your departing financial institution, that is, your old bank, and request a list of your regular payments from the last 13 months. Your departing financial institution is required to provide a Regular Payments List to Coastline within 3 business days upon receiving a valid request. From this list, you can point out to us which debits and credits you wish to carry over to your Coastline account.
Last but not least
Once we have outlined which regular payments you’d like to switch over to your Coastline account, we’ll need you to sign a Notice of Variation of Account Details Form to authorise us to contact the relevant organisations to update your bank details and we’ll do the rest. Each organisation should notify you when your banking details have been updated. This may take up to 3 weeks to be processed. It’s as simple as that!
