How do I sign up for Internet Banking?

  • Please call us on 1300 361 066. We will verify you, and then set you up with Internet Banking. We will issue you with a temporary password which will need to be changed when you first log on.

My Internet Banking password isn’t being accepted, what am I doing wrong?

  • Your Internet Banking password needs to contain

    • 1 capital letter
    • 1 number
    • 1 symbol
    • 1 normal letter
    • Must be at least 8 characters long
  • An example of an accepted password is: holiD4y!

How do I reset my Internet Banking password?

  • If you forget your password and enter it incorrectly three times on any given day, your internet banking account will be 'temporarily blocked' and you won’t be able to access it again until midnight that day. After midnight, your account will be automatically 'unblocked' and you’ll be able to enter your correct password and get access.

  • Please either call us on 1300 361 066 or visit your nearest Coastline store and we can reset it for you after we identify you.

How do I send a Secure Message?

  • Login to your Internet Banking, click ‘Services’ which is the third option up the top. Under ‘Services’ there will be the option ‘Secure Mail’. You may need to enter a SMS Verification Code- request and enter the code. Your Coastline Mailbox then opens. Click on ‘Compose’, select who you are addressing in the ‘To’ field, write a subject and then compose your message in the ‘Mail Body’ white rectangle.

  • You can use the Secure Mail service to temporarily raise transfer limits, to dicuss your loans or enquire about loans, and any other enquiries relating to your accounts here at Coastline!

How do increase my transfer limit?

  • Please log onto your Coastline Internet Banking and send us a Secure Message. To do this, click ‘Services’ which is the third option up the top. Under ‘Services’ there will be the option ‘Secure Mail’. You may need to enter a Sms Verification Code. Request and enter the code. Your Coastline Mailbox then opens. Click on ‘Compose’, select Accounts in the 'To’ field, type Increase Transfer Limit as the 'Subject' and then compose your message in the ‘mail body’ requesting the transfer limit increase.

    Please note that your temporary transfer limit increase will revert to your default limit at approximately 6pm the day of the increase.

How do I register for Secure SMS?

  • On your Internet Banking, go to Settings along the top row, then click on the speech bubble icon that says ‘Secure SMS Registration’. Please note: To complete SMS Registration, your mobile number must match that that Coastline has on file. Then register. It will then send a code to your mobile phone to confirm and finalise the setup.

  • If your mobile number is incorrect or you have updated your contact details and have not notified us, please contact us.

How do I get the VIP Token or App and How do I register the VIP token or App?

  • If you require a VIP token (you can not get the VIP app or SMS verification), please contact us on 1300 361 066 to discuss.

    To gain access to VIP (now owned by Symantec) on your mobile device, please click on the most appropriate type that matches your handset device.

  • Registering the VIP token or App?

    Once you have recevied the token or downloaded the APP to generate your log in codes, Please go to you Coastline Internet Banking. After you log in, Go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Register Token’.

What is PAYID and how do I set up a PAYID?

  • What is PayID?

    PayID is a simple service that makes paying money into your account easier. You can create a PayID by choosing something easy to remember, like your phone number, and registering it with your bank and adding it to your account number. The next time you want someone to pay you, instead of sharing your BSB and account number, simply share your PayID.

  • How do I set up a PayID?

    After logging into your Internet Banking, click on ‘Accounts’, then click on ‘Manage PayIDs’. You may be prompted to enter an SMS or VIP verification code. You can then update your PayID details.
