Jamie Rylance

Jamie Rylance was born on Gunditjama country Warrnambool Victoria and has lived in many interesting places in between. Lightning Ridge in particular holds much significance in shaping the women I am today. Currently resides on Dunghutti country.

“I can’t remember a time that I have not been seeking some form of creativity. It is what lights me up, creates energy and fills my soul. I have worked in many creative career paths in my life, and my creativity is something I bring to everything I do, it’s more than art making, it’s innovation, having a growth mindset, being able to adopt to change and looking at things from a higher perspective. I am a contemporary expressionist artist and I would best describe my work as emotional landscapes. My inspirations come from many sources; being out on and connecting with country, meeting beautiful humans and being in awe of our world.”
