Coastline is delighted to announce its sponsorship of $15,000 to Autism Swim, becoming the Platinum sponsor of the acclaimed Dippers program in Port Macquarie. This vital funding will support the delivery of Dippers, an inclusive surf education initiative designed for children and young adults of all abilities.

“Dippers is an award-winning modified nippers and surf education program for children and young adults with specific learning needs. It’s run by Autism Swim, in partnership with SLSC’s in multiple locations around Australia, to provide access and inclusion in a community program, along with life-saving surf skills, to participants and their families. The program is completely free to join and relies on sponsorships, donations and grant funding to exist. The season runs from the end of January through to the end of March, with the help of SLS volunteers, with participants working on individual goals on the beach and in the water,” explains Autism Swim.

This sponsorship will ensure that the Dippers program in Port Macquarie continues to thrive, offering families a cost-free avenue to participate in beach and surf activities. Coastline's support underscores a commitment to fostering inclusion and accessibility, allowing neurodiverse individuals to enjoy the beach safely and confidently.
