Important Changes to your Cue Card

Eftpos have recently unveiled their digital product strategy and outlined that they will be introducing eCommerce (online shopping) and Tap&Pay services to their Cue Cards over the next two years. This will mean that Coastline will have two bank cards offering the same functions for our customers, being the eftpos Cue Card and the Visa Debit Card.

With security and ease for our customers front of mind, we have made the decision to cease offering the eftpos Cue Cards in 2021, instead providing Cue Card customers with a replacement Visa Debit Card.

With a Visa Debit Card, you are accessing YOUR money to make purchases through a variety of facilities.

We want to reassure customers that our Visa Debit Card is an optimal choice for your transaction needs in 2021 moving forward.

Coastline’s Visa Debit Cards are monitored for fraud 24/7 and are also backed by Visa 3-D Secure.

3-D Secure provides extra peace of mind for online shoppers. It is a password-protected authentication system designed to confirm the identity of the cardholder when a Visa Debit Card is used online in suspicious or different than usual circumstance. This helps to prevent fraudulent transactions!

You will be receiving a Visa Debit Card in the mail to replace your Cue Card that is expiring soon. There are a few extra steps you will need to action to begin to use your Visa Debit Card.

  • Activate your card
    • You can activate your Visa Debit Card in one of the 3 ways:
      • Simply log in to Internet Banking, then navigate to the Services Menu > PIN/Card Management, when prompted validate your Secondary security and follow the prompts.
      • You can also activate your card via the MyCOAST Mobile Banking App, simply log in and navigate to the Card Management menu and follow the prompts.
      • Visit your nearest Coastline Store where our friendly team members can assist you with this.
    • PIN
      • You will be issued with a new PIN, which you can change at a Coastline ATM, on Internet Banking or on the MyCOAST App, or keep if you wish.
