School Environmental Grant Project
We are excited to announce the launch of our environmental project competition. Be part of the Coastline Community Foundation School Environmental Grant project! We’re offering twelve $2000 grants for primary and high schools in Hastings, Macleay, and Manning Valley. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity!
To enter, schools are required to fill out the submission form along with a video no longer than 2 minutes, showcasing their school's environmental project. The video can be filmed on a phone and should demonstrate an overview of the project, the benefits to the school and the planet, and be linked to this year's Earth Day theme - Planet V's Plastics. It can also include photos.
The project can be an existing one that the school has already implemented or one that is in the planning and development stages. The creative possibilities are endless, and we encourage both students and educators to get involved.
Applications open March 21 - April 12 2024
Judging
Our judging panel will select three finalists from each category based on the video submissions. These nine videos will then be posted on our Facebook page for the public to vote on. The school that receives the most likes and shares will win a $2,000 grant towards their environmental project.
We will be publishing the videos on April 22nd, Earth Day, which falls during school holidays. We encourage the school community to get involved in the voting process by sharing and liking the videos.
