“Dippers is an award-winning modified nippers and surf education programme for children and young adults with specific learning needs. Run by Autism Swim in partnership with Surf Life Saving Clubs (SLSCs) across multiple locations in Australia, the programme provides participants and their families with access to life-saving surf skills in a truly inclusive community setting. Completely free to join, the programme relies on sponsorships, donations, and grant funding to operate. Running from late January to the end of March, participants work towards individual goals on the beach and in the water, supported by dedicated SLS volunteers,” explains Autism Swim.

Our sponsorship will ensure the Dippers program in Port Macquarie continues to thrive, offering families a no-cost way to enjoy the beach and surf safely and confidently. Coastline is proud to support a program that champions inclusion and accessibility, empowering neurodiverse individuals to explore and enjoy coastal life.
