Celebrating Education Week: Supporting our young learners on the Mid North Coast

At Coastline Bank, we believe education is about more than just textbooks - it’s about creativity, confidence, connection and growth. That’s why, every August, we proudly get behind Education Week and celebrate the amazing young people learning and thriving right here on the Mid North Coast.
A month-long celebration of student creativity
One of our favourite ways to mark the occasion is through our Education Week Art Exhibition, proudly hosted at our Port Macquarie and Kempsey Art Hubs.
Running for the entire month of August, the exhibition features artwork created by students from local schools across the Hastings and Macleay valleys. It’s a beautiful showcase of young talent, filled with colour, imagination and the unique stories of our next generation.
We’d love you to pop in from 1 August and see the artworks for yourself - it’s a wonderful way to support local students and celebrate the creativity that’s being nurtured in our schools every day.
Our year-round support for kids and youth
While Education Week is a special time, our commitment to supporting young people runs all year round through a range of Kids and Youth Programs that aim to inspire, educate and empower.
Here are just a few ways we lend a hand:
- Cubs School Visit Program – fun, engaging school sessions that teach kids the basics of saving, spending and smart money habits.
- Education @ Glasshouse grants – helping schools attend educational shows and experiences at the Glasshouse Theatre with up to $500 in support.
- Cubs and Kickstart accounts – youth savings accounts designed to help kids and teens build healthy financial habits early on.
- Cub and Kickstart of the Week Awards – celebrating effort and achievement in local junior sports.
Giving back through our community foundation
We also invest in the future through the Coastline Community Foundation, which receives 5% of our annual profits to support local initiatives. Since 2002, we’ve given more than $2.5 million to over 200 community projects - including many that benefit our local schools and students.
Whether it’s funding excursions, creating learning opportunities or providing essential resources, we’re proud to help build stronger foundations for young people across the region.
Let’s celebrate together
Education Week is a reminder of the amazing things our kids are learning, creating and achieving. Whether you're a parent, teacher, student - or just someone who wants to support the next generation - we hope you'll join us in celebrating.
Start by visiting our Art Hubs from 1 August and seeing the magic that happens when education and creativity come together.

Let’s keep backing our young people - because when they shine, our whole community shines too.
