Jason Doyle
Coastline has grown to about $1 billion while staying local and member-owned. Technology, scams, flood risk and a younger membership are changing banking, and I bring fresh skills to meet them.
I'm a Coastline member who lives in the Hastings Valley and has worked in the Macleay Valley for over five years. I oversee a local council's $82 million commercial and operational property portfolio. Most Coastline lending is property-secured, so I understand how valuations and flood risk affect members and the bank. I volunteer at the Port Macquarie Community Garden and The Nature School, and serve as Secretary of a community reserve board.
I have more than 20 years in banking and finance, from Suncorp, Macquarie Bank and RESIMAC to Chief Financial Officer. I hold an MBA, a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics
(Finance). I'm a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
I have completed two international Al specialisations: Al in Financial Services (University of Oxford, Said Business School) and Al for Business (University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School). I would use this to protect members from scams and improve service, keeping local people at the centre.
