Nominations open for two positions on Coastline Bank Board

Vanessa McNeilly Chair of Coastline Bank

The 60th Coastline Bank Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday 26 November 2026, commencing at 5.45 pm at the Kempsey RSL, 1 York Lane, Kempsey NSW 2440.

Call for Director Nominations

In accordance with the Constitution, the term of office of Directors Vanessa McNeilly & Tania Powick ends at the end of the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Notice is hereby given that nominations are called for the two Director positions that will become vacant. Should the total number of nominations exceed the number of vacancies, Coastline Members will be invited to participate in an election via electronic or postal ballot.

Members who are considering nominating should be aware of the significant statutory responsibilities and necessary time commitment required to act in the office of Director.

To nominate, a candidate must be eligible for election under Clause 46 (Qualification) of Coastline’s Constitution, be nominated by two (2) Members, and consent to the nomination.

In accordance with APRA’s Prudential Standard CPS 520 Fit and Proper, all nominees must be assessed as having the required fitness and propriety to hold the position of Director. Nominees will be required to provide a Statutory Declaration and Consent Form allowing the Returning Officer to collect the necessary personal information to make this assessment.

As part of its ongoing Board skills assessment, the Board has identified a need to strengthen the diversity of experience and perspective on the Board and is seeking nominees who can demonstrate, through the required panel interview and the fitness and propriety assessment process under the Bank's Fit and Proper Policy, at least one or more of the following:

  • Strong analytical and strategic acumen;
  • A strong understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their application in financial services; or
  • Sound knowledge and practical application of strategic marketing.

This skills profile reflects the current Board Core Risk Capability Assessment & Development Plan maintained by the Governance, Remuneration & Nominations Committee. Nominees will be assessed against these and the other competencies set out in the Fit and Proper Policy (a copy of which will be provided to all nominees), and the Committee's assessment, including outcomes of the panel interview, will inform its determination of the candidate's fitness and propriety to stand for election.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend in person most Board and Committee meetings. Preference will be given to candidates living in the Macleay, Hastings or Manning Valleys.

The forms and information required to nominate are available through the Registered Office located at 64 Elbow Street, West Kempsey or by contacting the Company Secretary on 1300 36 1066. The forms must be completed in full for each nomination and forwarded to:
