Coastline Bank Community Foundation Tertiary Scholarships Initiative – Terms & Conditions (Taree Universities Campus)

Overview

In partnership with Taree Universities Campus, the Coastline Bank Community Foundation is offering 20 x $500 scholarships to support tertiary students undertaking placements in the 2025 academic year. These scholarships are intended to help with study-related costs and placement-related expenses for students living in the Manning Valley.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be currently enrolled in tertiary education (university or equivalent level).
  2. Be registered and active users of the Taree Universities Campus.
  3. Be undertaking placement during Semester 1 or 2 of the 2025 academic year.
  4. Reside in the Manning Valley region.
  5. Submit a complete application within the designated application period.

Application Process

  • Opening Date: 9:00 AM, Monday, 2 June 2025
  • Closing Date: 5:00 PM, Friday, 13 June 2025

Applications must be submitted using the official application form via the Coastline Bank website www.coastline.com.au. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Selection Process

  • Scholarships will be awarded to the first 20 eligible applicants who meet all criteria.
  • All decisions regarding the awarding of scholarships are final and at the sole discretion of the Coastline Bank Community Foundation and Taree Universities Campus.
  • Successful applicants will be notified via email and phone within two weeks of the closing date.

Scholarship Payment

  • Each recipient will receive a $500 eftpos gift card.
  • The gift card is intended to support placement and study-related expenses, such as travel, accommodation, supplies, or equipment.
  • Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.

Conditions of Acceptance

  • Successful applicants may be required to provide evidence of enrolment, confirmation of placement, and proof of residence in the Manning Valley.
  • Scholarship recipients agree to be contacted for follow-up or promotional purposes (e.g., testimonials, publicity), unless they opt out in writing.
  • Any misuse of funds may result in cancellation of the scholarship.

Privacy

  • Applicant information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policies of the Coastline Bank and Taree Universities Campus.
  • Data will be used only for the purpose of administering the scholarship program.

These scholarships aim to assist with study-related expenses and promote access to higher education in the Macleay Valley region.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be currently enrolled in tertiary education (university or equivalent level).
  2. Be studying in the Health or Education sectors.
  3. Be registered and active users of the CUC Macleay Valley at the time of application.
  4. Be enrolled in the current study session at the time of application.
  5. Reside in the Macleay Valley region.
  6. Submit a complete application within the application period.

Application Process

  • Opening Date: 9:00 AM, Monday, 2 June 2025
  • Closing Date: 5:00 PM, Friday, 13 June 2025

  • Successful applicants may be asked to provide evidence of enrolment and proof of residence in the Macleay Valley.
  • Recipients agree to be contacted for follow-up or promotional purposes, including testimonials or participation in future publicity materials, unless they opt out in writing.
  • Any misuse of the scholarship funds may result in the scholarship being revoked.
  • Scholarships are to be collected from the Coastline Bank Kempsey branch.
