The Coastline Bank Community Foundation, in collaboration with Taree Universities Campus, is proud to support local students through the Tertiary Scholarships Initiative. This program offers 25 scholarships, each valued at $750, to assist tertiary students residing in the Manning Valley who are undertaking placements during the 2026 academic year. Overview

In partnership with the Taree Universities Centre (TUC) Manning Valley, the Coastline Bank Community Foundation is offering 25 x $750 scholarships to support tertiary students. These scholarships aim to assist with study-related expenses and promote access to higher education in the Manning Valley region.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all applicants.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

Be currently enrolled in tertiary education (Bachelor's degree or higher).

Be registered and active users of the TUC Manning Valley at the time of application.

Be enrolled in the current study session at the time of application.

Reside in the Manning Valley region.

Submit a complete application within the application period.

Be a customer of Coastline Bank, or be willing to join to receive the scholarship.

Scholarship details

  • 25 scholarships, in the form of direct deposit into a nominated Coastline Bank account, each worth $750, are available.
  • The scholarships are designed to assist with the cost of study for TUC students residing in the Manning Valley.

Application process

  • Applications will be accepted between 9:00 AM on 13 May 2026 and 5:00 PM on 27 May 2026, or before if the number reaches 25 eligible applications. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
  • Applications must be submitted online via the official Coastline Bank scholarship application form on this web page.

Selection process

  • Scholarships will be awarded to the first 25 applicants who meet all criteria and answer all questions.
  • The decision to award scholarships is final and at the discretion of the Coastline Bank Community Foundation and TUC Manning Valley.

Notification of successful applicants

  • Successful applicants will be contacted by phone or email using the contact details provided in their application, within two weeks of the closure date.
  • If a successful applicant cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days of being notified, the scholarship may be awarded to another eligible applicant.

Payment and use of scholarship funds

  • Each successful applicant will receive a scholarship in the form of a direct deposit into their Coastline Bank account. Successful applicants without a Coastline Bank account must activate an account by 15 June to receive their funds.
  • Scholarships will be paid into the nominated bank account by 30 June 2026.
  • The scholarship funds should be used for study expenses such as textbooks, placement costs, supplies, technology, or other education-related costs. The funds can also be saved.

Personal information and privacy

  • By applying, applicants consent to Coastline Bank using their personal information for the purpose of administering the scholarship program, including verifying eligibility and notifying successful applicants. Names and enrolment details will be shared with TUC Manning Valley to confirm enrolment and active TUC registration.
  • Successful applicants may be asked to provide proof of residence in the Manning Valley.
  • Recipients agree to be contacted for follow-up or promotional purposes, including testimonials or participation in future publicity materials, unless they opt out in writing.
  • Coastline Bank and TUC Manning Valley respect applicants’ privacy and will handle all personal information in accordance with their Privacy Policies.

General conditions

  • The scholarships are not transferable or exchangeable for any other form of reward.
  • Coastline Bank and TUC Manning Valley reserve the right to disqualify any applicants who do not meet the eligibility criteria or who provide false or misleading information in their application.
  • Coastline Bank and TUC Manning Valley’s decision regarding the scholarship winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Applicants who are not existing Coastline Bank customers agree to make reasonable efforts to open an account with Coastline Bank prior to 15 June 2026.

Liability

  • Coastline Bank accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property as a result of participating in the scholarship program, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to the Terms & Conditions

  • Coastline Bank reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
