Submissions are now open are open for the 2019 Macleay Valley Business Awards!

The portal for submissions in the 2019 Macleay Valley Business Awards, presented by Coastline Credit Union has officially opened.

Hosting an inclusive nineteen categories, the Awards will bring positive change and confidence to the businesses of the Macleay and encourage business growth within the Valley.

“All Macleay Valley businesses large and small are encouraged to enter and the process itself is invaluable in helping you assess your business and plan for the future," says Macleay Valley Business Chamber President Gary Scott.

There are two distinct Award Levels available and the Awards provide a brilliant opportunity to recognise and reward wonderful businesses whose passion, determination and success inspire other businesses and business people.

Eligible businesses can enter one of the 7 Local Recognition Award categories, which consists of:

• • Excellence in Tourism, Accommodation and Hospitality;
  • Excellence in Health, Beauty and Wellbeing;
  • Excellence in Professional Service (less than 20 employees);
  • Excellence in Professional Service (more than 20 employees);
  • Excellence in Trades and Industry; and
  • Excellence in Agriculture.

The Macleay Valley Business Chamber encourages all entrants into one of the Local Recognition Awards to nominate themselves for one or more of the Excellence Awards Aligned to the NSW Business Chamber. These Awards comprise of twelve categories, some of which include:

• • Outstanding Business Leader;
  • Outstanding Young Employee;
  • Excellence in Small Business; and
  • Excellence in Social Enterprise.

"It offers local business an opportunity to share their journey, grow their business and be acknowledged for their efforts,” said Mr Scott.

This years Awards and Gala Dinner will be held at the South West Rocks Country Club on Saturday 15 June.
