Coastline Credit Union and the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club will combine forces to bring an enhanced and contemporary banking experience, with a trendy ‘go to’ spot for your morning coffee run at Vault Café.

Located in Kempsey’s Smith St, the Coastline Community Hub will allow the highly anticipated partnership to deliver local groups and individuals the opportunity to come together for a project, host a meeting and engage with each other.

Coastline General Manager Peter Townsend expressed enthusiasm to be able to provide a space that can be utilised during trading hours and after hours for community events, functions, product launches and training. With free wi-fi, comfortable seating and meeting spaces available, Coastline hopes to further develop their connection with the local community in this new store.

“We wanted to create a space where people could relax, connect and engage with our team and each other; we are sure that Vault Café will become the “go to” for your early morning coffee, morning tea and lunch!”

Daniel Abela, CEO of Kempsey Macleay RSL is excited by the two community minded organisations coming together in this central location in town.

“Kempsey needs a community hub, a co-working space, a business and social meeting place similar to the RSL Club. A place where people can sit down and relax in a safe and friendly environment.”

The Coastline Community Hub will see Saturday morning trading be reintroduced as well as the same personal banking experience using modern technology, progressively moving away from a traditional banking environment.

Vault Café will be offering a variety of delicious foods and drinks.

“What will make us different from other cafes in town is our bagels with delicious fillings. We’ll also have a range of delicious shakes and smoothies for people to pick up on the way to or from work for breakfast or a snack”

Both organisations share similar values and regularly support and give back to the local community though sponsorships or grants and have for many years and will proudly continue to do so.

Construction is currently running to schedule with an anticipated opening by December 2019. There will be an official opening before the busy Christmas period commences. We hope that everyone can join us!
