We want you to be one of the first to see our new brand.

As announced to Coastline members last month, from late February our name will be changing to ‘Coastline Bank’.

Changing our name has given us an opportunity to refresh our existing brand and to better represent who we are today.

We’ve been working hard to ensure our new brand captures Coastline’s heritage, the community we operate in and the people we serve.

We wanted you to be one of the first to see what our new brand will look like.

If you look closely at the logo and imagery above, you might notice it has a connection to some of the unique landscapes, rivers and headlands in our region.

What to expect?

An important reason we wanted to share our new brand with you now, is so you are familiar with it before it replaces our existing logo.

At the end of the month, you'll see our new brand appear on our mobile banking app, social media pages, website, branches and elsewhere in the community.

Don’t be surprised or concerned if the logo on your mobile app or internet banking page changes to include our new brand mark.

What will not change?

Our BSB, your account numbers and the way in which you contact us. Most importantly, our friendly team of professionals will still be there to serve you by phone or in person.

What do I need to do?

There is nothing you need to do, as there will be absolutely no change to the way we serve you or how you use your online banking.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our friendly branch staff or give us a call on 1300 361 066.

Introducing our new name, 'Coastline Bank'

17/01/2025

For almost 60 years, Coastline Credit Union has served its members with a promise to provide the highest level of financial services and products at the absolute lowest possible cost.

We’re proud to say that in 2025 we will be continuing that commitment and will usher in a new era of banking, under the name ‘Coastline Bank’.

This name change has been unanimously agreed by the Coastline Board and Management, and will take effect in late February 2025.

Why do we need to do it?

Having ‘bank’ in our company name will clearly and simply explain to eligible non-members who we are and what we do.

It will make Coastline more relevant with the next generation of members and help secure long term growth and sustainability for our valued existing members.

The member-owned banking sector has undergone a large amount of regulatory change in the past decade allowing this simple but important change to happen, and this process has already been completed by numerous member-owned financial institutions throughout Australia.

Coastline is one of an increasingly smaller number of credit unions and building societies yet to make the move.

What do I need to do?

There is nothing you need to do, as there will be absolutely no change to the way we serve you or the way our business is run.

It is also important to note, there will be no change to our member-owned status, and every member will keep their voting rights as they are now.

What happens next?

As part of this change we will be giving our brand a refresh that acknowledges our heritage and the community we operate in. This process will happen over a period of time to reduce cost.

We look forward to sharing more information about this exciting and momentous step in Coastline’s journey with you over the coming weeks.
