Kempsey & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc $7,200 to improve promotion of the Chambers by purchasing and erecting 3 flag poles at the South entrance of the town to welcome visitors and to purchase a marquee to be used for business & community activities. South West Rocks RSL Sub Branch $4,390 for repaving and drainage of the Cenotaph at South West Rocks. Macleay Valley junior Cricket Association $7,675 for the upgrading of the existing practice nets in Verge Street, resurfacing the pitch, repaving and repairing the nets wiring. Macleay Valley Community FM Radio Station Inc $2,000 to replace ageing office, studio furniture and purchase new office equipment. Kempsey Crescent Head Surf Life Saving Club Inc $1,579 to purchase resuscitation manikins to enable training of CPR at the club. $5,000 to complete the club house. Funds will be used for concrete, decking and to have electricity connected. Port Macquarie Magpies AFL Club $9,724 to help with the construction of 2 framed covered shelters for players. Port Macquarie Little Athletics Centre Inc $1,800 to construct a throwing circle for discus and purchase a discus net and trolley. F.A.W.N.A (for Australian Wildlife Needing Aid) $3,500 to purchase equipment to construct 3 portable and demountable soft-release aviaries for rehabilitated possums and gliders. $1,000 to purchase wildlife rehabilitation equipment including outdoor thermometers with humidity meter, electronics scales and heat pads. $3,400 for the replacement of chain wire mesh fencing on cricket nets and to add extra bays to existing nets. $3,000 to purchase flat screen TV with DVD player for the training room. Taree Old Bar Surf Life Saving Club Inc $4,500 to help purchase 4X4 vehicle to transport equipment, boats, ski and emergency stretcher between club and beach front. |
