General Manager

Peter was appointed to the General Manager’s position in 1996 and has played an important role in the development and growth of Coastline Credit Union over the past decade. He was previously the General Manager of Central West Credit Union.
Peter is a Director of Indue Ltd which provides financial products and services to financial institutions. These solutions include payment products such as direct entry, chequing, BPAY, cards, acquiring and monitoring services for ATMs, as well as balance sheet management, risk and computer services. |
Board of Directors
Coastline has a Board of Directors which consists of seven members. The directors come from varied backgrounds and occupations ranging from school teachers to accountants. Coastline Directors are elected via a Member vote and serve a three year term.

Allan joined the Board of Directors in 2008. Allan is Secretary Manager of the Kendall Services & Citizens Club. Allan has an accounting background having worked with banks, finance companies and Credit Unions for a number of years before joining the hospitality industry.
Allan is married and lives on a small farm in the Camden Haven valley. He is a strong believer in the principles of mutuality. |

Matthew Ryan - Deputy Chairman |

Matthew joined the Board in 2009 and is a member of the Executive, Loans and Coastline Community Foundation Committees. Matthew is the Senior Correctional Educational Officer with the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre in West Kempsey. He has held a number of training and development roles with the Department of Defence.
Matthew is married and lives in South West Rocks where he is actively involved in the community. He holds a Bachelor of Primary Education Studies, Charles Sturt University, Bachelor of Arts (Politics) University of New South Wales, Associate Diploma in Personnel Management Royal Military College, Duntroon and a Certificate in Vocational Instruction Royal Military College, Duntroon, 1997.
Through his involvement in the community Matthew has observed the many benefits provided by Coastline Credit Union and he is proud to be a part of an organisation that exists to support local people. |

David joined the Board in 2010 and is a member of the Risk and Loans Committee. David has been a member of Coastline Credit Union for 28 years and had in excess of 25 years’ experience with credit unions holding the positions of Chairman, General Manager, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.
David’s association with the Credit Union industry has provided him with a sound understanding of the social and community needs of its members, requirement for a high level of corporate governance and a focused strategic plan.
David acts in the best interest of members to ensure that the credit union is providing relevant products and services; maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the Board and management; and its continued viability.
David is actively involved within the community and is a member of Rotary and Legacy. |

John has been a Coastline Member and Director sine 1986. He has had a career in banking prior to joining the family business Cavanagh Buses in Kempsey.
John is proud of Coastline’s achievements and providing local communities with a banking alternative. |

Barry was elected to the Board in 1982 and has served as Coastline’s Chairman from 1997 to 2000 and 2002 to 2010. He was employed in the electricity industry for 38 years in managerial positions before retiring in 2006.
He has been recognised as a "Fellow" of the Australian Credit Union Institute. Barry is committed to ensuring Coastline Credit Union works efficiently and delivers a high level of products and services to Members at the lowest possible cost. |

Peter is a foundation member of Coastline joining the Credit Union in 1966. He served on the Board from 1985 to 1991 and was re-elected in 2002. Peter worked in the electricity industry in managerial positions for over 20 years.
Peter recently retired as Station Commander of the NSW Fire Brigade in Kempsey after 45 years of service. As a foundation member Peter is committed to the principles of mutuality. |

Vanessa was elected to the Board in November 2011. Vanessa operates her own law firm in Belgrave Street, Kempsey and has worked in area as a solicitor for a number of years.
Vanessa believes it's important to support the businesses and families of our local community. She will provide a fresh and common sense approach and is committed to the ongoing success of Kempsey and the Region. |
